but isn’t that all that mattered in the end. What if John was trying to protect Sherlock from that. What if John had tried to make Sherlock look like a good guy to prevent him from accusations of being a fraud and people trying to hurt him for reasons. It really upset John sometimes to hear how bad Sherlock was, that he wanted to show the world just how genuine his amazing-ness is.
